Unser Mandant entwickelt innovative Decision-Intelligence-Software für datengestützte Entscheidungen und komplexe betriebliche Abläufe. Das Ziel ist es, Organisationen dabei zu helfen, Abhängigkeiten transparent zu machen, Handlungsoptionen zu evaluieren und Entscheidungen zu treffen, deren Logik und Annahmen jederzeit nachvollziehbar sind. Dafür wird eine leistungsfähige Kerntechnologie aufgebaut, die strukturiertes Wissen, logisches Schlussfolgern (Reasoning), Planung und KI-Komponenten vereint.

Als Senior Backend Engineer konzipierst und baust du zentrale Kernkomponenten dieser Software. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem CTO und dem Engineering-Team übersetzt du technische Konzepte und Algorithmen in hochverlässliche Software, gestaltest Schnittstellen sowie Datenstrukturen und übernimmst die Verantwortung für Komponenten vom Entwurf bis hin zur Integration und Validierung.

Deine Challenges:

  • Kernentwicklung: Konzeption und Implementierung von Backend-Komponenten zur Abbildung von Abhängigkeiten, Evaluierung von Szenarien und Unterstützung von Reasoning- sowie Planungs-Workflows.

  • Architektur & APIs: Aufbau klarer APIs, Datenstrukturen und Schnittstellen für das nahtlose Zusammenspiel der Engine-Komponenten und zukünftige Erweiterungen.

  • Prototyp-Transformation: Überführung von Prototypen und algorithmischen Konzepten in wartbare, skalierbare Software (inkl. Fundierter Entscheidungen bezüglich Eigenentwicklung vs. Integration bestehender Tools).

  • Qualität & Performance: Verantwortung für die Komponentenqualität durch automatisierte Tests, Benchmarks, Debugging und Profiling zur Sicherstellung von Korrektheit und Performance.

  • Nachvollziehbarkeit & Diagnostik: Entwicklung von Diagnosewerkzeugen und Strukturen, um Ergebnisse in Bezug auf Eingaben, Modellversionen und Annahmen jederzeit rückverfolgbar zu machen.

  • Produkt-Zusammenarbeit: Übersetzung von Kundenanwendungsfällen gemeinsam mit dem Produktteam in technische Akzeptanzkriterien und wiederverwendbare Kernverbesserungen.

  • Engineering Standards: Aktive Mitgestaltung von Code-Reviews, Dokumentationen sowie Build- und Deployment-Workflows für eine saubere Codebasis.
