Senior Backend Software Engineer

What am I going to do?

• You develop it all! Including products and features.
• You’ll be building and developing modules, data pipelines, and services.
• You own it - from design to production.
• Being available for on-call shifts.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production backend systems at scale
• Very strong coding abilities in at least one modern language (Kotlin, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Python)
• Proven ownership of services end to end: API design, data modeling, performance, reliability, and observability in production
• Deep understanding of Computer Science principles and strong analytical skills
• Hands-on experience and established working practices with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar)
• Experience in designing and building AI-powered product features, from prompt design to scalable, production-ready integrations is a strong plus 
• Readiness to contribute beyond your core discipline. Backend is your depth, and you'll be expected to contribute to frontend and other adjacent work as features require
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian
• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
