Job Description:

The Legal Administrative Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting a fast paced, multi practice law firm by ensuring attorneys and clients receive timely, accurate, and professional assistance across family law, real estate, and criminal defense matters. At Job Duck, this role serves as a trusted point of coordination for case activity, client communication, and legal documentation. The ideal candidate brings a calm and composed presence to high pressure situations while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This position directly contributes to case efficiency, client confidence, and attorney productivity. It is well suited for someone who thrives in structured environments, manages competing priorities with ease, and values precision in legal work.

Monthly Compensation: $1,150 to $1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, format, and organize legal documents and correspondence

  • Manage inbound phone calls and client email communications

  • Maintain well organized digital case files and records

  • Handle sensitive legal and financial information with accuracy and discretion

  • Coordinate follow ups with clients and internal team members

  • Track deadlines, court dates, and attorney calendars with precision

  • Support workflow improvements and client communication processes

  • Conduct client intake calls and gather accurate and complete case information

  • Provide ongoing administrative and procedural support to attorneys

Requirements:

Required Skills  

• Bachelor’s degree (in Law)

• I - 2 years of experience in the role or similar.

• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to professionally manage high conflict or emotionally charged client interactions
• Highly organized and systems-oriented mindset
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong follow through
• Critical thinking and sound judgment
• Ability to pivot quickly across multiple legal practice areas
• Confident and professional phone presence
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys
• Adaptability in a fast paced and evolving legal environment

Additional Details
 

• Full time remote position aligned with Eastern Time
• Work schedule: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST
Availability required to support time sensitive legal deadlines and court related matters
Prior experience supporting attorneys in a law firm environment is required
• Experience in a multi practice legal setting is strongly preferred
