Job description

About The Alliance

When it comes to building world-class professional communities, The Alliance is leading the way. From Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to Product-Led Growth, AI, Customer Success, and CMOs, we're home to some of the most engaged and influential communities in the industry.

With 160,000+ professionals across our communities and a constant stream of content, courses, events, and memberships, we help our members learn, connect, and grow. Our executive events are a key part of that mission—bringing together senior leaders to share insights, tackle industry challenges, and build meaningful relationships.

Every year, we engage attendees, speakers, partners, and members from some of the world's leading organisations and fastest-growing start-ups, including TikTok, Microsoft, Peloton, and Uber.

The Role

Our executive programmes only work if the right people are in the room. As Executive Audience Manager, you own the audience for our invitation-only events. You identify the senior leaders who belong at each table, you earn their attention, and you convert that attention into confirmed, qualified, high-value attendance. Our Content and Events teams build the experience. You build the room.

You'll work closely with Commercial, Partnerships and Marketing, and you'll own the executive relationship end to end: from first touch and qualification, through confirmation and show-up, to the follow-up that turns a one-time attendee into a long-term member of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the target audience: Work with Commercial and Marketing to translate each event's brief into a clear, named list of the executives who should be there, and the seniority and profile criteria that qualify them.

  • Build and run executive outreach. Own multi-channel campaigns across personalised email, LinkedIn, phone, referrals and warm introductions. Own the volume, own the follow-up, own the pipeline.

  • Qualify rigorously. Confirm seniority, decision-making authority, budget relevance and peer fit before an invitation is issued. Protect the quality of the room, including when that means saying no.

  • Convert and hold attendance. Manage invitations, confirmations, pre-event communications and reconfirmation with a white-glove touch. Minimise drop-out and keep every confirmed guest engaged right up to the day.

  • Hand over cleanly. Give the Events and Content teams a fully briefed, confirmed audience ahead of every event, with the profile detail they need to run the room well.

  • Retain and grow. Maintain relationships after the event, drive repeat attendance, and grow our executive communities through referrals and exclusive engagement opportunities.

  • Share what you learn. Capture commercial and market insight from your conversations, keep the CRM clean and current, and give internal teams warm, well-briefed handovers.

What Success Looks Like: You are measured on the quality and reliability of the audience you deliver.

Success means every event opens with a full room of genuinely senior, genuinely relevant executives who wanted to be there. It means low drop-out, high repeat attendance and a growing pool of executive relationships that belong to The Alliance rather than to any single campaign. It means Commercial and Event teams who trust that when you say the audience is secured, it is secured. And it means attendees who accept the next invitation because the last one was worth their evening.

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant experience could be in executive audience acquisition, B2B events, executive networking, partnerships, business development, or community building.

  • Comfortable approaching, engaging and holding the attention of C-suite and senior decision-makers, mostly by email, LinkedIn and phone.

  • A closer's instinct for follow-up. You are persistent without being a nuisance, and you don't lose people in the gap between interest and confirmation.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Your outreach reads like a person, not a template

  • Highly organised with the attention to detail that white-glove executive handling demands.

  • Comfortable owning a target and working to a deadline that does not move, because the event date does not move.

  • Experience using CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and outreach tools is an advantage.

What This Role Is Not

To help you self-select: this is not an event production, logistics or on-site hosting role. You will not be sourcing venues, running the operational build or working the room on the night. Our Events team owns all of that. This is an acquisition and relationship role, and your week is spent in outreach and conversation with senior executives.

Benefits: We believe exceptional people deserve exceptional support.

  • 34 days' annual leave, including UK Bank Holidays.

  • Your birthday is off every year.

  • Enhanced family policies.

  • Private Medical Insurance.

  • Company social events.

  • A collaborative, ambitious, and supportive working environment.
