The Role 

The Sr. Manager, Finance Business Performance and Insights within the Brokerage Finance team will deliver the data, strategic insights and analysis to advise business strategy and decision making, measure and evaluate business performance, and monitor key initiatives. You will be a contributor to the development of executive presentations which will be used across multiple forums and widely across the enterprise. This role will provide an opportunity to work across the company and partner with other finance teams across the firm.  

The Expertise We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Information Sciences, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree a plus 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in data analytics, and financial and business analysis, preferably in the Financial Services industry 

  • Strong working knowledge of finance-based datasets, methodologies a plus 

  • Experience in assembling disparate datasets and creating nuanced visualizations to drive analytical analysis of business performance 

  • Experience in Decision Support, Customer Analytics, Performance Measurement, and Revenue Models. 

  • You are flexible and can contribute to multiple projects concurrently 

  • Solid working knowledge of Brokerage or Wealth Business units a plus. 

  • Strong analytic, organizational and communication skills, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities 

  • Ability to lead efforts to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, actionable story for leaders   

  • Solid knowledge of financial modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Thinkcell, Alteryx, Tableau, Business Objects, SQL)

  • You have a passion for visualization design and dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. 

  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to dig deeply into business problems to understand causal factors 

  • Proven ability to craft presentations for leaders   

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills combined with proven business and financial acumen 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong ability to influence others and build relationships 

  • Strong ability to learn new datasets, business processes, and visualization tools depending on project scope  

  • Proven ability and flexibility to manage multiple high-priority, deliverables in a deadline driven environment 

  • Passion and energy in everything you do and a customer obsessed mindset

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
