Job Description:

Overview: Are you ready to make a global impact and drive value to our bottom line? Join our Global Sourcing & Procurement (GS&P) Programs & Technology co-op program, where you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience. You’ll partner across the business to support Technology, Diversity, Supplier Management, and Sustainability programs for GS&P. You’ll learn how these programs operate and build a thorough understanding of how they contribute to overall performance and competitiveness of TJX. Our Global Sourcing & Procurement Programs & Technology group collaborates with leaders around TJX, helping to: Focus on diverse operational areas, our aim is to maximize value and ensure efficient delivery of services, playing a pivotal role in the success of our organization. Support sourcing process by providing Technology, Diversity, Sustainability, and Supplier relationship initiatives. Navigate TJX, facilitating cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration. Comply with TJX requirements and standards. Maximize suppliers’ capabilities and evaluate performance. Responsibilities: Gathering and organizing data on new technology. Collect and compile feedback from users and stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns. Preparing reports and presentations, summarizing findings and recommendations. Conducting research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices Support the development of technology roadmaps and strategic plans. Support GS&P’s strategic initiatives within Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, and Sustainability. Support searches and reporting on Diverse owned businesses. Support design and build of Supplier Diversity program playbook. Support market research on sustainability practices in various categories. Support the opportunity assessment by category and tail spend review to look for new or aggregated diverse supplier opportunities. Who we are looking for: We are looking for students who are highly motivated self-starters who prioritize effectively, are proactive and flexible, and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment. We’re especially looking for: Individuals with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on simultaneous projects both independently and in team environments. Individuals who are flexible and adept at handling change. Excellent communicators who work well in cross-functional teams. Young leaders interested in learning how to build strong professional relationships. Experienced users of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Power Point. Your Future: High performing co-ops may be offered one of multiple opportunities upon successful completion of their co-op experience: Return for a second GS&P co-op opportunity.
