Job Description:

Overview: Ready to make your impact within our Enterprise Risk Data & Systems team that supports the retail business by reducing risk via automation and enables data-based decision making. During this co-op you’ll learn about the software development life cycle, end user support, and preparing data to manage risk with style while meeting TJX Corporate Risk & Compliance standards. The Team: We collaborate and provide data & system expertise to support our global business. Focused primarily on Risk & Compliance, our goal is to enable data analysis, reduce manual activities, and assess our data and key compliance tools to enable the successful execution of our off-price retail model. Within Risk & Compliance, our team works with partners across the organization to explore data and make use of emerging technologies to help drive value. Our teams encourage collaboration and sharing of ideas to support the growth of our fast-paced business. The Opportunity: This co-op role will provide business and project support for Enterprise Risk Data & Systems Data & Systems initiatives, enabling TJX’s retail business operating model. You will be assigned projects that contribute to the overall Enterprise Risk Data & Systems Strategies, as well as assist with daily support activities within the data & systems functions. You will collaborate with experienced team members to ensure deliverables are provided in a timely, effective, and efficient manner. Responsibilities: General Responsibilities • Learn and become proficient in TJX tools, processes, and systems. • Perform administrative, operational, and project support activities. • Assist with tasks, projects, and deliverables assigned by management. • Attend meetings, document key decisions, and track action items. • Support project planning, status tracking, reporting, and documentation. • Facilitate or coordinate team meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions. • Collaborate with business partners to gather and document requirements. • Identify process improvement opportunities and support process documentation. • Liaise between business and technology teams to support solution delivery. • Participate in testing, UAT, issue resolutions, and continuous improvement efforts. • Contribute to the development, testing, and enhancement of business and technology solutions. • Other duties as assigned to support business objectives Each Enterprise Risk Data & Systems Co-op will receive targeted supervision and guidance, hands-on training to facilitate learning, while being given a high degree of creativity and autonomy - providing the tools for success in a global Fortune 100 retail environment. Who we are looking for: We are looking for current students who are highly motivated self-starters, with the ability to prioritize effectively, be proactive and flexible, and demonstrate a strong bias for action in a dynamic professional environment. Additional relevant skills include: • Detail oriented with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. • Ability to anticipate and think-through the impact of decisions. • Ability to work in a consistently changing environment. • Ability to work in a team setting with both technical and non-technical members. • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team or communicate with other groups. • Willingness to seek out feedback, and the ability to incorporate feedback to enhance performance.
