Job description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Processing & Data Remediation Specialist to support data quality, cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying data discrepancies, executing remediation activities, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure accurate and reliable master data. Experience with procurement, supplier, or master data platforms such as SAP Ariba is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Data Processing

  • Process, validate, and maintain large volumes of business data with high accuracy.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities across multiple systems.
  • Review incoming data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
  • Execute regular data audits and quality checks.
  • Support data migration and system implementation projects.

Data Remediation

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues including duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistencies.
  • Perform data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and deduplication activities.
  • Investigate root causes of data-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain data quality rules, validation checks, and remediation procedures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve data exceptions and governance issues.

Reporting & Governance

    • Generate reports and dashboards related to data quality metrics and remediation progress.
    • Maintain documentation for remediation activities, data standards, and operating procedures.
    • Support data governance initiatives and compliance requirements.
    • Monitor KPIs related to data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data processing, data quality, master data management, or data remediation roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred(advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
  • Experience in SAP Ariba preferred
  • Experience working with databases and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
