Job description

Job Title: Security Associate (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the current security program
  • Review existing SOPs, templates, SharePoint, and contract documentation
  • Identify organizational priorities and process gaps
  • Begin documenting institutional knowledge and historical practices
  • Update security program SOPs
  • Organize the Security SharePoint site
  • Standardize folder structures, templates, and checklists
  • Organize contract-specific security documentation
  • Continue knowledge transfer and process documentation
  • Complete workflow documentation and process maps
  • Develop the AO Security Program Playbook and FSO Toolkit
  • Review inspection and audit readiness documentation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the part-time support engagement and determine future security program support needs
  • Evaluate the business need for government security system access (DISS, NISS, NBIS, SWFT, Fieldprint, etc.) as a separate decision if operational responsibilities expand
  • Assess long-term staffing needs and determine whether continued part-time support or another staffing approach is appropriate
Required Qualifications:   Experience/Skills:  
  • Prior experience in a security administration role within a cleared facility, or equivalent government security background
  • Working knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA processes, and DISS 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills

Salary Information: 

The likely salary range for this position is $50-55/hour. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
