Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Connexall Application Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for the Connexall Clinical Communication and Workflow Platform. The resource will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing clinical communication workflows that connect nurse call systems, patient monitoring devices, EMR/EHR systems, mobile communication devices, and other healthcare technologies.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and expertise in healthcare integrations and clinical workflow systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support & Operations
    • Provide L2/L3 production support for the Connexall platform.
    • Monitor application availability, alerts, queues, and workflow processing.
    • Investigate and resolve incidents within established SLAs.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
    • Support platform upgrades, patches, and release activities.
    • Participate in on-call support rotations as required.
  • Clinical Workflow Support
    • Support and maintain clinical communication workflows.
    • Troubleshoot nursing communication and alert escalation issues.
    • Support alarm routing, staff assignment, and notification workflows.
    • Ensure reliable delivery of critical clinical alerts and messages.
  • Integration Support
    • Support integrations between Connexall and:
      • Nurse Call Systems
      • Vocera
      • Voalte
      • Cisco communication systems
      • Epic
      • Patient Monitoring Systems
      • Mobile devices
      • Paging systems
      • Contact center platforms
    • Responsibilities include:
      • Interface monitoring
      • Integration troubleshooting
      • Data validation
      • Message delivery support
      • Workflow testing
  • System Administration
    • Manage system configurations and user profiles.
    • Support role-based security and access management.
    • Configure clinical units, devices, escalation groups, and workflows.
    • Monitor system capacity and performance.
  • Incident & Problem Management
    • Handle Sev1, Sev2, and Sev3 incidents.
    • Perform detailed log analysis.
    • Develop knowledge-base articles and troubleshooting documentation.
    • Coordinate with vendors and hospital operations teams during critical incidents.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of IT Application Support experience
  • 2 years supporting healthcare communication, clinical workflow, nurse call, patient engagement, or hospital integration platforms.

Required Technical Skills

  • Platform Skills:
    • 5 Years of Experience supporting Connexall or similar clinical communication platforms.
    • 5 Years of Understanding of healthcare communication workflows.
    • 5 Years of Experience with nurse call and alarm management systems.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $55/hr to $65/hr. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
