Job Description

Are you an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment? We are looking for a Data Processing Specialist II to join the Nielsen Scarborough product team. In this role, you will bridge operations, data science, finance, and external vendors to execute US panel survey recruiting, monitor vendor traffic, track mailing releases, and analyze panel feasibility under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor & Panel Fielding Management: Monitor panel-fielding strategies, traffic, vendor performance, and sampling quotas across active US recruiting channels. Troubleshoot traffic drops and geographical mix-ups in real time.

  • Incident Resolution & Data Analysis: Detect, investigate, and resolve daily data discrepancies. Generate insights, post-release reports, and performance dashboards for internal leadership and external partners.

  • Project Milestone Tracking: Oversee timelines across panel, mailing, and data-delivery milestones. Communicate production risks to downstream teams and execute contingency plans.

  • Mailing & Payout Execution: Setup mailings and payouts, generate mailing address files, coordinate distribution schedules, and ensure on-time delivery across mail teams.

  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile and validate monthly panel-vendor cost-confirmation reports and payments against actual performance and valid respondent data.

  • Process Automation & AI Innovation: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and leverage modern AI tools for enhanced data analysis and task automation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, or a related field.

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in media research or digital marketing/advertising.

  • Panel Expertise: Proven experience with digital sampling and online research panels (sourcing, panel management, feasibility, targeting, and fieldwork).

  • Technical & AI Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office Suite; experience leveraging AI tools for data analysis, automation, and efficiency.

  • Language Skills: Advanced oral and written English communication skills required

  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with US geography, retail industry dynamics, and the media landscape.

  • Core Competencies: Strong logical analysis, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage changing priorities under tight deadlines.
