Job Description

The Digital Operations Specialist is responsible for efficiently trafficking assets for media campaigns and ensuring agreed-upon turnaround timeframes are met. This role focuses on managing high-profile, strategic accounts and supporting the successful execution of digital advertising campaigns.

The Sales Operations team works side-by-side with regional digital sales management teams to ensure advertising campaigns run smoothly and exceed client expectations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically savvy problem solver with strong customer service skills and leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Traffic and monitor campaigns across the ad server.
  • QC, process and prepare display and video ads for launch.
  • Partner with sales marketing and site leaders to schedule campaigns for calendar-based sponsorships and events.
  • Collaborate with external ad vendors to review and test images for various rich media creative types and executions.
  • Troubleshoot advertisement issues in real time.
  • Work closely with campaign managers, sales, inventory management, marketing, and product development teams to review, resolve, and respond to inbound requests.
  • Provide on-call support for RSN, political and tentpole events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be available during game times when supporting live events.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience trafficking in an ad server; Google Ad Manager (aka DFP), Freewheel.
  • Familiarity with a front-end order management system preferred.
  • Fluency in digital media terminology, including impressions, CTR, CPMs, and eCPMs.
  • Fluency in online measurement terminology, including uniques, pageviews, visits, and referrers.
  • Familiarity with live streaming events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel formulas.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and ActionScript.
  • Experience taking screenshots, cropping, and performing basic image editing.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in the Los Angeles area and able to regularly support Pacific Time business hours.

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence. 

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $55,000 - $58,000
