  • Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively, escalating risk areas as needed

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Support preparation of accurate, timely monthly financial statements and management reporting packages

  • Serve as a key contributor to annual audit readiness; prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor requests
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and reduce risk across the close process

Systems, Automation & Process Improvement

  • Partner with the Controller and IT to optimize the ERP system, workflows, and close checklist
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual, repetitive accounting tasks
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to:
    • Streamline reconciliations and flag anomalies for review
    • Improve the speed and accuracy of variance analysis
    • Reduce manual data entry across close and reporting processes
  • Document and maintain SOPs to support consistency, training, and audit readiness

  • Balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled with no unresolved aged items
  • Financial statements are reliable, audit-ready, and clearly explain business performance
  • Manual work is reduced through thoughtful process improvement and automation
