The Jackson Healthcare Corporate Learning & Development team is searching for a Jr. Instructional Designer for a temporary part time assignment. The Jr. Instructional Designer will gain exposure to an array of disciplines with a primary focus on Instructional Design and Learning & Development.

This role is a temporary part time assignment that will take approximately one (1) month to complete.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Jr. Instructional Designer will gain exposure to Instructional Design as well as Learning & Development department activities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Instructional Design Manager and other Learning & Development team members to develop and review training content across various mediums

  • Using Articulate 360 to create learning assets and/or courses

  • Redesigning/rewriting existing training materials

  • Editing audio and video materials

  • Performing specific projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED 

  • High school diploma

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Instructional Design/Instructional Technology/Learning Design/Learning Technologies, or a Human Resources related field

  • Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities

  • Must be well organized and able to escalate issues when encountered

  • Able to work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Persistent and dependable, especially with regards to arrival time, attendance, and meeting deadlines

PREFERRED

  • Previous experience with an e-Learning authoring tool

  • Previous experience in video and audio editing
