About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Government Affairs & Corporate Governance Manager to lead government relations, corporate governance activities, and office operations in Dubai. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong relationships with government entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, supporting joint venture governance, and overseeing the smooth operation of the Dubai office.

You will work closely with senior business leaders, external stakeholders, and government agencies, providing expert guidance on governance, compliance, and operational matters across the Middle East region.

What You'll Do

Government Affairs & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships and interactions with UAE government departments and ministries.

  • Oversee immigration and visa processes for employees and their families through outsourced providers.

  • Support commercial licensing requirements and ensure compliance with local regulations.

  • Lead projects requiring government engagement and coordinate activities across stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans and relationship maps.

  • Provide updates to senior leadership on regulatory developments and government policies.

Corporate Governance & Company Secretarial

  • Support joint venture governance activities and provide governance guidance.

  • Act as the key contact for governance and company secretarial matters with external service providers and the wider organization.

  • Maintain governance records, legal documentation, and statutory filings.

  • Support regional boards and governing forums through agenda management, meeting coordination, minute taking, and action tracking.

  • Provide governance support for strategic projects and business initiatives.

Office & Facilities Management

  • Oversee the efficient and safe operation of the Dubai office.

  • Manage relationships with property management providers and workplace service partners.

  • Monitor and manage service level agreements with outsourced office support providers.

  • Lead office-related procurement activities and manage operational budgets.

  • Ensure workplace services meet business requirements and support employee experience.

Communications & Business Support

  • Support internal communications and events coordination for Dubai-based activities.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication across the business.

  • Support leadership teams with governance documentation, reporting, and administrative activities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree or equivalent experience.

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.

  • Experience in government affairs, corporate governance, office administration, facilities management, or related disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of UAE government structures, regulations, and business requirements.

  • Experience engaging with government authorities and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting governance frameworks, boards, committees, or joint ventures.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong corporate governance and company secretarial knowledge.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders, government officials, and external partners.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information effectively.
