Job description

We are looking for a Manager, Travel & Expense Program to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of the Company's global Travel & Expense (T&E), corporate card, and transient travel programs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving policy compliance, enhancing the employee experience, managing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and implementing process improvements across travel, card, and expense operations. You will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, HR, Risk, Internal Audit, and external suppliers to ensure programs align with business objectives while maintaining strong controls and operational efficiency.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  • 7 years proven experience as administrator of a global Travel & Expense (T&E) management.

  • Proficiency in travel management software and online booking tools. 

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Knowledge of travel risk management protocols and emergency response procedures.

  • Certifications such as Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM) are a plus.

 What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Lead and optimize the Company's global Travel & Expense (T&E), corporate card, and transient travel programs.

  • Analyze travel, expense, and card spend to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve compliance, and support forecasting and budgeting.

  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology enhancements to improve operational efficiency and the employee experience.

  • Develop and maintain policies, controls, and procedures that support compliance, risk mitigation, audit readiness, and SOX requirements.

  • Manage relationships with travel management companies, card providers, travel technology vendors, and other suppliers to ensure service excellence and cost-effective solutions.

  • Evaluate program performance through reporting and analytics, providing recommendations and insights to senior leadership.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, HR, Risk, Audit, Security, and Tax teams to support strategic initiatives and operational objectives.

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while supporting staffing, talent planning, and overall team success.

Leadership Responsibilities

This role is expected to provide strategic leadership and influence across a broad stakeholder network.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Procurement, HR, Technology, Audit, and external suppliers.

  • Establish program objectives, performance metrics, and governance processes to drive measurable business results.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders on travel, expense, and card-related policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Influence decision-making and build consensus among senior leaders and business partners.

  • Drive change management efforts and support adoption of new processes, policies, and technology solutions.

  • Mentor colleagues and share expertise to elevate organizational knowledge and program maturity.

Hours of Work  

This is a hybrid full-time position working U.S. business hours, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. 

Compensation – US only

The expected base salary for this position is $91,200 - $114,200 USD per year. This role is eligible for incentive or bonus earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
