Job description

This is a remote position.

Senior U.S. Attorney Recruiter
Remote | International Contractor
We are seeking an experienced U.S. Attorney Recruiter to identify, engage, and recruit qualified attorneys for law firms throughout the United States.
The ideal candidate has substantial recruiting experience, strong proactive sourcing skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple searches while maintaining timely communication and a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
This position is structured as a remote international contractor engagement and requires the contractor to perform services from outside the United States.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source U.S.-based attorneys using LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, state bar directories, professional networks, referrals, and other appropriate sourcing channels.
  • Develop and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for assigned positions.
  • Conduct targeted searches based on practice area, jurisdiction, bar admission, relevant experience, compensation requirements, and client needs.
  • Conduct professional candidate outreach through LinkedIn, email, and phone.
  • Screen prospective candidates against established position requirements before submission.
  • Consistently generate qualified candidate submissions for active searches.
  • Maintain timely candidate communication and follow-up throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, statuses, notes, and follow-up activities.
  • Provide regular updates regarding sourcing activity, candidate responses, submissions, interviews, and pipeline status.
  • Evaluate sourcing results and adjust recruiting strategies when necessary.
  • Manage multiple active searches while maintaining candidate quality and responsiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with LinkedIn-based candidate sourcing and direct outreach.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining candidate pipelines.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, research, and follow-up capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize time-sensitive recruiting needs and respond promptly.
  • Strong professional judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to determine appropriate next steps and work independently within established recruiting processes.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple searches and competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working toward clearly defined recruiting goals and performance expectations.
Experience recruiting U.S.-based attorneys or other legal professionals is strongly preferred.
Performance Expectations
Success in this position will be evaluated based on candidate quality, pipeline development, responsiveness, consistency, and recruiting outcomes.
Key expectations include:
  • Consistent development of qualified candidate pipelines.
  • Regular submission of candidates who meet established position requirements.
  • Proactive sourcing and outreach for assigned searches.
  • Timely candidate follow-up.
  • Accurate and current recruiting records.
  • Measurable progress across assigned positions.
  • Timely identification and communication of recruiting challenges.
  • Appropriate adjustment of sourcing strategies when additional candidate generation is needed.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a recruiter who is professional, resourceful, responsive, organized, and results-oriented.
You understand that successful recruiting requires more than reviewing incoming applications. You are comfortable researching talent markets, identifying passive candidates, conducting direct outreach, building professional relationships, and guiding qualified candidates through the recruiting process.
You can work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team regarding progress, challenges, and results.
To Apply
Please submit your resume and provide a brief overview of:
  • Your years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Your experience recruiting attorneys or other U.S. legal professionals.
  • Your experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn.
  • Recruiting and sourcing platforms you have used.
