The Opportunity

Are you looking to build your experience in compliance, governance, and aged care regulation while contributing to better health outcomes for Australians? Join the Amplar Health Clinical Governance Team as a Compliance Officer - Aged Care, where you'll play an important role in supporting organisational compliance with aged care legislation, regulatory obligations, accreditation requirements, and quality standards.

As Amplar Health continues to expand its presence and services within the aged care sector, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing and strategically important area of the business. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will help strengthen governance, compliance, and quality frameworks that support the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. Working across a broad range of activities including compliance monitoring, audit and accreditation support, governance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, you'll gain valuable exposure to the evolving aged care regulatory landscape while building your career in a high-growth area.

This is a permanent work-from-home role that can be based anywhere in Australia and is available on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operational teams to understand and meet aged care regulatory, compliance, and quality obligations.
  • Provide secretariat support for governance committees, compliance meetings, and working groups, including agenda preparation, minute taking, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate audit, accreditation, and assurance activities, including evidence collection, stakeholder engagement, meeting coordination, reporting, and remediation support.
  • Maintain compliance frameworks, registers, policies, procedures, and associated documentation to ensure information remains current, accessible, and audit-ready.
  • Support compliance monitoring and reporting activities, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the management of governance and compliance systems, including document control, risk registers, and obligation tracking.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions arising from audits, reviews, incidents, and regulatory findings.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes, reporting, and governance practices through continuous improvement and innovation.

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you're highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve quality and compliance outcomes.We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in an administration, coordination, governance, compliance, quality, risk, or project support role.
  • Exposure to aged care, healthcare, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, accreditation, or quality management environments.
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and broader aged care regulatory framework.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence working across a range of systems and reporting tools.
  • Ability to prepare reports, meeting documentation, and compliance records.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement, and achieving quality outcomes.
