As our Senior Lean Manager for the Gas Value Stream, you will lead our operational transformation, placing Lean principles and the Toyota Production System (TPS) at the heart of our industrial performance.

Key Responsibilities 

You will play a critical role in:

  • Driving Lean Transformation: Lead the deployment of Lean strategy across Gas manufacturing facilities, in alignment with GE Vernova’s operational priorities and Global Supply Chain standards.

  • Leading High-Impact Kaizen Events: Plan and execute Kaizen events focused on flow, lead time reduction, productivity, and defect elimination—delivering measurable, sustainable results.

  • Coaching & Capability Building: Partner with site leaders and cross-functional teams to build Lean capability, providing hands-on coaching in Daily Management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

  • Advancing Built-In Quality (BIQ): Lead BIQ deployment to embed defect prevention into processes through standardized work, error-proofing, and process control.

  • Scaling Best Practices: Identify, standardize, and deploy best practices across Gas sites to accelerate Lean maturity and ensure consistency across the Gas network.

Candidate Profile 

We are looking for a change agent with:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Significant experience in Lean Manufacturing within a complex industrial or heavy manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of leading site-wide transformation initiatives.

  • Lean / TPS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience implementing TPS principles (laminar flow, Jidoka, pull systems/Kanban, TPM, single-piece flow).

  • Innovation: Practical experience with lean innovations such as Moonshine systems and Karakuri-based automation.

  • Influence & Leadership: Strong ability to influence, coach, and drive cultural transformation across diverse, multi-site organizations, engaging shop-floor teams and senior leadership alike.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with Shingijutsu, Toyota, or equivalent world-class Lean organizations is a strong advantage, as is experience in heavy industry (e.g., gas turbines, large equipment).

  • Développer les compétences Lean : Accompagner les équipes de direction de site et les fonctions transverses dans l'appropriation des pratiques de management quotidien (Daily Management), de résolution de problèmes et d'amélioration continue.

  • Renforcer la culture "Qualité Intégrée" (BIQ) : Déployer les standards BIQ pour ancrer la prévention des défauts dans nos processus grâce au travail standardisé et au contrôle des procédés.

  • Standardiser et déployer les meilleures pratiques : Harmoniser les méthodes à travers nos sites pour accélérer la maturité Lean et favoriser une culture unifiée au sein du réseau Gas.

Profil recherché Nous recherchons une personne passionnée par l'excellence opérationnelle, possédant :

  • Formation : Un diplôme d'études supérieures (Bachelor ou équivalent) en ingénierie, gestion des opérations ou domaine connexe.

  • Expérience : Une expérience significative en environnement manufacturier complexe ou industrie lourde, avec une expertise démontrée dans le déploiement de transformations Lean.

  • Expertise Lean / TPS : Une maîtrise pratique des principes du Toyota Production System (flux, Jidoka, systèmes tirés/Kanban, TPM, flux pièce à pièce).

  • Innovations : Une capacité à mettre en œuvre des solutions d'automatisation pratiques (type Moonshine ou Karakuri).

  • Leadership : Une forte capacité à influencer, coacher et fédérer des équipes, du terrain jusqu'à la direction, dans un contexte multisite.

Atout supplémentaire : Une expérience préalable au sein d'organisations Lean de classe mondiale (type Shingijutsu ou Toyota) ainsi qu'une expérience spécifique dans l'industrie des turbines ou équipements lourds sont des atouts précieux.
