Position Purpose:
Stays current with emerging trends, methodologies, and technologies in market research to ensure Centene leverages best-in-class approaches. Proactively recommends enhancements, leads pilot initiatives, and conducts meta-research to optimize research investments and outcomes.
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) within the research team, advising on methodologies and approaches that align with business objectives. Provides strategic guidance to Marketing, business partners, and external research agencies by developing a deep understanding of the business context and shaping research initiatives that uncover actionable market and consumer insights.
Synthesizes data from multiple sources—both qualitative and quantitative—to deliver clear, concise, and business-relevant recommendations. Leads and executes research independently and in collaboration with agencies, using a broad range of tools and techniques. Effectively communicates insights and opportunities to senior leadership to inform and influence business strategy.
Key Details: This position is remote with up to 10% travel required. Candidates with payer and Medicaid industry experience are strongly preferred.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Market Research, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, or a related field in business, communications, or social sciences required
Master's Degree in a related field preferred
8+ years relevant professional experience in market research, analytics or a related discipline required
Demonstrated expertise in applying statistical tools and methods, including but not limited to SPSS, R, Python, and techniques such as correlation analysis required
Experience with online data collection tools such as Qualtrics required
Proven ability to coach, advise, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various levels of seniority required

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
