About the Role
The UX Specialist II collaborates closely with UX, product, and technology partners to fully understand the customer journey, uncover potential gaps, and identify opportunities within their area of discipline across every user experience. This role plays a key part in shaping and strengthening the UX team's practices, knowledge, and skill set, contributing not only to the work itself but to how that work gets done. The role balances short-term project needs with longer-term thinking about how UX practice should evolve across the team.

What You'll Bring
You're an expert in building, working within, and leveraging design systems, using them not just as a toolkit but as a strategic asset that drives consistency, efficiency, and scalability across products. You bring deep expertise in UX methodology, applying research, testing, and design thinking practices with fluency and rigor, and you're regarded as an advanced-level expert relative to peers within your department.

You're comfortable and experienced working in agile environments, and you're proficient with Jira and Confluence as part of your daily workflow. You know how to move at the pace of sprints while still protecting the integrity of the user experience.
You have an "own it" mentality. You're self-directed and exercise sound judgment, taking accountability for your work and decisions while staying closely connected to peers, stakeholders, and your manager. You know when to move forward independently and when to loop in others.

You've proven your ability to partner and collaborate effectively across product teams, business stakeholders, experimentation teams, and development partners, influencing key decisions and driving outcomes through cross-functional collaboration. You're equally comfortable working within blended teams of full-time staff and consultant partners, adapting your collaboration style as needed to keep projects moving smoothly.

You bring deep experience working in complex B2B enterprise digital products, and you understand the unique challenges these environments present, including layered stakeholder needs, complex workflows, and the balance between business requirements and user needs. You bring a growing understanding of how UX decisions connect to broader enterprise and industry dynamics, not just the immediate product or team.

Your impact extends across your immediate team and department, and your work often influences related initiatives and activities beyond your own team's scope.
