The Field Service Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for ensuring Customer Excellence through troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Radiometer analyzers. The FSE is an external representative of Radiometer and must convey a keen sense of expertise in Radiometer products, services and capabilities and serve as a key educator to our customer business accounts.

This position is part of the Customer Support function located in Abha-Southern Region, Saudi Arabia. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and servicing of analyzers for the assigned installed base. Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure they are properly calibrated.
  • Complete assigned Regulatory Field Action Notes and Technical updates within the specified due dates and meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Install our analyzers and conduct customer user training as required.
  • Order and manage spare parts cycle time by accurately recording spare parts used on service jobs.
  • Comply with company regulations, guidelines, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Upgrading Operating system and keeping devices cybersecurity compliant
  • Basic IT troubleshooting for devices with Windows 7/10/11
  • Adding/editing IP addresses on the devices and confirming connection to Middleware or LIS\HIS\EMR

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University graduation in biomedical engineering, mechanical/electromechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a field service engineer in healthcare industry in Medical & POC devices/Diagnostic equipment, expert in troubleshooting, Networking/connectivity setup and IT system upgrades, basic command prompts command, connectivity testing of devices with middleware or LIS\HIS\EMR.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working with SQL database, Java, Mirth.
  • Working with Microsoft Office Tools & CRM.
