At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world.

The Role

CoMind is seeking a Medical Affairs Lead to join our growing Medical Affairs team. In this mid-level role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between clinical science and our customers and academic partners. You will manage medical affairs projects from conception through execution, develop scientific communications, and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders. This position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise, operational acumen, and excellent presentation and communication skills. This independent contributor role will report directly to the Director of Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Operations & Project Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Medical Affairs projects and initiatives with attention to timeline, budget, and compliance requirements

  • Develop project scope, identify deliverables, manage stakeholders, and track progress to ensure successful completion

  • Establish and maintain Medical Affairs operational processes and documentation systems

  • Ensure all activities align with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical guidelines

  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams (Clinical Research, Regulatory, Product, etc.) and external stakeholders

Scientific Communication & Content Development

  • Develop, review, and ensure accuracy of medical communications, scientific materials, and healthcare provider information

  • Conduct literature reviews and stay current with scientific developments relevant to CoMind's products and therapeutic areas

  • Create and deliver presentations to customers, healthcare professionals, and academic partners

  • Present clinical data, research findings, and medical information in a clear, compelling, and scientifically rigorous manner

  • Participate in medical education events and conferences

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare providers, and academic partners focused on nursing relationships

  • Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals and customers

  • Gather and synthesize feedback and real-world evidence from stakeholders

  • Support advisory boards, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings

Skills & Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing degree (BSN, MSN preferred) and/or PhD in relevant field

  • 3-7 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in clinical operations leadership, clinician education, or related healthcare role; at least 2 years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex scientific information clearly to diverse audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare/medical affairs

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and ability to quickly learn new software systems

  • Comfort with use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to assist task completion without replacing independent thought
