BIG PICTURE:

Why This Role Matters: We're looking for a curious, fast-learning junior programmer to join our Systems & Automation team. You'll work directly alongside our Automation Lead - helping build, test, and maintain internal workflows, keep documentation sharp, and ensure reporting is always accurate and on time.

This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same. If you get excited by AI tools, love making things run smoother, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty with both code and admin work - read on.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Assist in designing, building, and testing automation workflows under the Automation Lead
• Write and maintain lightweight scripts for internal tools, data processing, and task automation
• Handle day-to-day admin: documentation updates, meeting notes, and task tracking
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports - compile data, format outputs, and flag anomalies
• Support agentic AI pipeline setups including prompt config, tool integration, and basic testing
• Monitor running automations, log issues, and escalate errors promptly
• Research and suggest new tools or approaches to improve existing workflows
• Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and document workflow specs

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Basic to intermediate programming - Python preferred; JavaScript or Bash a plus
• At least one completed AI certification, such as: DeepLearning.AI - AI for Everyone; Coursera - Generative AI Fundamentals; Microsoft - Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900); Google - Intro to Generative AI; AWS - Cloud Practitioner (AI track); Hugging Face - AI Agents Course; LangChain - Certified Developer; or equivalent (agentic focus preferred). Certs covering agentic workflows, prompt engineering, or AI orchestration are prioritised.
• Demonstrable understanding of agentic AI workflows - agents, tools, orchestration
• Organised and detail-oriented - can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball
• Strong written communication for documentation and reporting

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

The Automation & Workflow Assistant will report directly to the Automation Lead.

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

Currently, this role has no personnel reporting directly to him or her.

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

Our Automation & Workflow Assistant will work remotely from home or personal office and will be required to utilize Dhar Mann Studios time tracking software to log and submit work hours.

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday. Specific hours and timezone overlap will be discussed during the interview.

Compensation: $12 to $15 /hr
