Job Description

Introduction/Purpose:

The position holder will be office based and is expected to travel occasionally for internal and external meetings, trainings and conferences. It will be the responsibility of the position holder to help develop the presence and recognition of Sobi as a credible partner within the rare disease community through supporting the development of relationships with key stakeholders (especially physicians), as well as authorities and patient access colleagues as well as DACH and HQ staff in a cross functional approach to Sobi’s interactions with all stakeholders (physicians, payers, nurses and patients).

Objective for the company:

Propose and implement market access strategies and tactics for all Sobi products that are already launched and marketed in the DACH region in light of the current applicable regulations and the expectations of the health authorities, customers and patients organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the local cross-functional product teams as well as with the National Sales Managers to identify pricing and positioning opportunities as well as threats for the Haemophilia franchise, Haematology and Immunology products.
  • Strong collaboration with finance, sales and patient access to manage existing and develop new pricing and reimbursement offers and the impact from an economical perspective
  • Monitor competitive environment and develop appropriate pricing and contracting strategies for marketed Sobi products to support commercial business goals
  • Execute and negotiate pricing and contracting strategies with relevant stakeholders as sick funds or physician associations where needed
  • Produce and analyse contract/payer specific reports
  • Develop consultative relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders and leverage Sobi as the preferred partner for innovative contracting models
  • Identify national and regional authorities and stakeholders with responsibility for the pricing and reimbursement of existing and new products and engage appropriately with such bodies together with the Director Patient Access & Engagement DACH to understand requirements and support for optimal pricing and reimbursement
  • Proactively track key legislative changes and sick fund related changes with potential impact on Sobi’s business
  • Develop and drive local real-world evidence and HEOR strategy as well as respective publication plan to demonstrate reliable insights of health care reality and benefits of modern therapy approaches
  • Liase with Marketing and Patient Access to drive materials, fact sheets, cost calculators and other selling tools
  • Support the AMNOG process for Sobi’s pre-launch products by shaping reimbursement strategies, dossiers and benefit assessment process in close collaboration with the pre-launch Patient Access team
  • Propose, coordinate and lead AMNOG negotiations with GKV-SV in close collaboration with the pre-launch Patient Access team

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Economics, Public Health, or a related field
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply
