  • Identifies and leverages data to enhance sales effectiveness, ensuring the Sales team monitors, achieves, and visibly reports departmental and organizational analytics and Metrics That Matter

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing the vision and managing the execution of Milo’s Tea Company’s Sales function, leading a world-class team that delivers exceptional customer service, grows market share, and drives top-line performance across all available channels. This role participates as a member of the Business Development team to identify and implement strategies that achieve Milo’s operational and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops a world-class Sales team, managing and coaching sales function leaders and associates to success on strategy, tactics, and culture consistent with Milo’s strategic systems and values of People First, HAT, and Authentic Leadership. 

  • Builds trust with existing and new customers by exceeding expectations on service, forecasts, and communication through visible, transparent systems within the Sales department. 

  • Leads go-to-market strategy and execution for the launch of new products, pack sizes, and brands, ensuring effective commercialization across all channels and retail environments. 

  • Identifies and leverages data to enhance sales effectiveness, ensuring the Sales team monitors, achieves, and visibly reports departmental and organizational analytics and Metrics That Matter. 

  • Works closely with Business Development, Sales leaders, and Finance to recommend and deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics for accountability and budgeting purposes. 

  • Participates in the strategic planning process, facilitating departmental and company-wide adoption of strategic initiatives and delivering performance measures to support the execution of Milo’s strategy. 

  • Works with the Business Development team and all departments to continuously improve corporate efficiency and effectiveness, serving as a process-driven and transparent leader who exemplifies Milo’s culture of authentic leadership. 

  • Builds deep trust with peers, leaders, and the Sales TEAm through honest and transparent communication, modeling the leadership values that define Milo’s culture and creating an environment of accountability and engagement throughout the department. 

  • Leads the Sales department’s contribution to Corporate Responsibility programming, including environmental, social, and MMAD initiatives, serving as a visible champion of Milo’s values across all customer and internal interactions. 

  • Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.  

  • This position has food safety responsibilities.
