Senior Product Designer (working hours in UK time zone)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently collaborating with a leading UK digital bank to find a motivated, energetic, and highly responsible Senior Product Designer to join our client's team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

In practical terms, this person will be primarily responsible for designing and architecting complex internal management systems, proprietary product platforms, and complex CRM tools, ensuring design integrity and strong UX/UI consistency across high-complexity backend workflows.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Act as a design "protector" within the team, operating right below design team management and strategy to safeguard design quality and standards.
• Design and refine complex internal systems, custom CRM interfaces, and backend-heavy management platforms.
• Proactively influence the product roadmap, challenge existing processes, and drive continuous design improvements in close alignment with Product Managers.
• Translate intricate financial and technical backend logic into clear, functional, and scalable user interfaces.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

You are the right fit for this position if you fulfill these mandatory requirements:

• Over 5 years of product design experience
• Solid experience in UX/UI design, specifically focused on complex systems, internal tools, and back-office platforms.
• Mobile application design experience in banking, fintech, or financial services and/or products environments.
• Advanced/Fluent level of English for daily professional interaction and collaboration.
• Proactive and energetic posture with the ambition to influence product strategy and challenge established norms.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to operate as a design protector and key advisor to product leadership.
• High autonomy and confidence to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.

These would be great added value:

• Exposure to or practical interest in AI implementation and AI tools applied to design workflows.
• Some graphic design experience.
• Strong delivery mindset and commitment to deadlines and goals.
• Experience working in distributed and multicultural teams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Workplace: This position is fully remote. Candidates must be available to work fully aligned with the UK/PT time zone. You may occasionally be invited or requested to visit Client or FCamara sites in Portugal or Central Europe on an eventual, pre-planned basis. Regular office visits are not anticipated.
• Project Term: This position is part of a long-term project.
• Languages: In this role, work with both the FCamara team and the client will be conducted in English. As this will be your primary working language, it is a requirement that you are professionally proficient in this language.
• Contract Model: We offer flexibility in the contract model. Our recruitment team will provide all details regarding contract type, remuneration, and benefits, tailored to your location and professional situation.
• Nationality, Residency and Visa: We welcome professionals of any nationality, provided they are fluent in the required language and reside lawfully in the accepted region. Please note that this position does not include any visa sponsorship or arrangements by FCamara.
