Core Duties:

Position Summary

Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources, the Sr. Director, People Enablement leads two connected functions: Patra's global Learning and Development team, and the North America Business Partner team. The role exists to ensure Patra has the talent, leadership capability, and scalable people practices needed to deliver its business strategy as the company shifts toward an agentic, AI-enabled operating model.

This leader drives the global enterprise capability building across Core Skills, Functional Skills, People Management and Leadership Development, and Patra's performance management cycle and enterprise succession planning. This role will also help shift team engagement with leaders toward strategic partnerships that diagnose business problems, co-create solutions, and sustain a culture of performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the global Talent Enablement team and North America HRBP team.
  • Set and advance the HR people and learning strategies in partnership with executives, subject matter experts, and HR leadership to connect capability priorities such as building core skill that measurably improve foundational capabilities and team performance across business units aligned to Patra's strategy, leadership expectations, and culture.
  • Serve as a partner to the CEO and Executive Team, advising on organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and people risk.
  • Champion an AI-first approach across the Talent organization, and evaluate and incorporate AI-enabled learning tools, learning experience platforms, and emerging methods where they are advantageous and beneficial to business needs.
  • Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Asia Pac HRBP and HRIS to ensure talent needs are reflected in company-wide people programs.
  • Oversee the department budget, including forecasting, allocation, vendor spend, and demonstrated return on investment across programs.
  • Direct the design and facilitation of global programs that strengthen coaching capabilities, team effectiveness, and leadership readiness.
  • Oversee Patra's eLearning and digital learning portfolio, including curriculum architecture, platform strategy, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure the team follows consistent, fair, and legally sound employee practices when advising employees and working with managers to do the same.
  • Bring people analytics to leadership with a clear line of sight into organizational health, including capability gaps, leadership effectiveness, and critical talent retention, and translate those insights into strategic recommendations that drive systemic improvements across the organization.
  • Establish scalable learning governance and measurement practices, reporting KPIs and ROI that link program adoption, effectiveness, and business impact, and using those insights to improve quality, consistency, and accessibility.

Performance Management and Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead the enterprise performance and feedback practices with stakeholder alignment that support goal setting, continuous coaching, development planning, and performance reviews across the employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with senior leaders to build a roadmap for a high-performance culture spanning goal setting, continuous coaching, development planning, and formal review.
  • Govern the enterprise talent review and succession planning to identify high-potential talent, strengthen leadership pipelines, and improve succession readiness.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire the North America People Business Partner team, setting a clear vision and building a culture of coaching, accountability and strategic partnership.
  • Provide direct, candid coaching and counsel to executives and senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and complex organizational and people challenges.
  • Advise business leaders on organization design that enables fast decision-making, strong culture, and customer focus.
  • Guide leaders through organizational transformation, including AI-driven workforce shifts, using structured change plans and disciplined stakeholder management.
  • Monitor change effectiveness and business impact, identifying trends, risks, and hotspots before they escalate.

Qualifications and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience spanning HR Business Partnership and Talent Development or learning strategy, including at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience building and scaling a business partner team, including raising the bar on strategic impact and developing partners to operate credibly with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing enterprise-wide succession planning or leadership pipeline frameworks within a matrixed, multi-geography organization.
  • Executive presence and credibility, with the ability to advise C-suite and VP-level leaders with candor and confidence in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
  • Strong data and analytics capability to use people data to help shape business decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead effectively across time zones and build aligned, engaged, and accountable teams in a fully remote, global environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in insurance, financial services, BPO, process improvement, or technology-enabled services.
  • Experience with enterprise learning technology ecosystems, including Docebo or comparable learning management systems, instructional design tools, learning analytics, and Power BI.
  • Ability to build leadership development, onboarding, compliance, process training, culture-building, or career development programs at scale.
  • Experience operating at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Finance, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition, building alignment across competing priorities.
