Job description

We are looking for a skilled, product-minded Senior Full stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will build and extend a custom software platform as we move into active release and scale, working alongside a high-caliber team in an AI-native development culture. You will partner closely with the Senior Engineering Manager and product leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support our recreational vehicle business. This is a hands-on role where your contributions will have direct, visible impact from day one.

What You'll Do

Technical Delivery

  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features across the entire application layer, from database schema to UI.

  • Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews to uphold quality standards.

  • Contribute to technical decisions on stack, frameworks, and system design in collaboration with the Senior Engineering Manager.

  • Help maintain and improve coding standards, documentation practices, and deployment processes as the platform matures.

AI-Native Development

  • Leverage AI coding tools and agentic workflows as a core part of your daily development practice.

  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into the product itself where they add real user value.

  • Stay current with rapidly evolving tooling and bring practical recommendations to the team.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Translate product requirements into well-scoped technical solutions and execute on them with minimal hand-holding.

  • Work closely with product, design, and stakeholders in an iterative, remote-first environment.

  • Surface and communicate technical risks early and help drive them to resolution.

  • Support a small, fast-moving team by jumping in wherever you're needed.

What You Bring

Technical Expertise

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong, current full stack skills.

  • Proficiency across the stack, including modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks on the frontend, server-side development, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Practical use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development velocity and quality.

Mindset & Working Style

  • Strong ownership mentality; you drive work to completion without waiting to be unblocked.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the reality that requirements evolve in a fast-paced product environment.

  • Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Low ego, high output; you're as comfortable picking up a bug fix as designing a new service.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience contributing to a platform through a major release or growth inflection point.

  • Background in the recreational vehicle, manufacturing, or related industries.

  • Familiarity with modern observability, security practices, or infrastructure-as-code.

What We Offer

  • High-visibility, high-impact IC role with real ownership over what gets built and how.

  • The chance to contribute to an AI-native engineering culture and modern development practices in a growing organization.

  • Collaborative environment with the stability and resources of an established RV industry leader.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • Flexible work arrangements with a remote-first team setup.
