SUMMARY: The Strategic HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, enabling talent strategies that drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. This role partners closely with leadership on org design, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development, which is realistic to achieve HR as a true business partner, not just an HR service provider.

  • Serve as a strategic consultant to business leaders on workforce planning, engagement, and org effectiveness
  • Lead talent discussions, including succession planning, high-potential identification, and performance calibration
  • Partner with leadership to design organizational structures and team models aligned to business goals
  • Use data and insight to drive strategic recommendations and coaching conversations
  • Collaborating with Workforce Intelligence and Employee Relations to ensure integrated HR support
  • Support change initiatives, culture efforts, and manager capability-building
  • Stay current on HR trends, tools, and regulatory updates relevant to the business

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Seven (7) years in an HRBP or senior HR generalist role
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders in a strategic capacity
  • Proven ability to influence, coach, and challenge business leaders effectively
  • Experience using HR data to inform decision-making
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with demonstrated ability to navigate complex people dynamics with empathy and clarity
  • Comfortable operating in a remote, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes
  • Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and a bias for action and consistency
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complexity, coach leaders, and drive alignment
  • Growth mindset and proactive learner who is open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
  • Proficient MS365, WD
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to clear the required background check
  • Although fully remote position, incumbent must reside in Texas and have the ability to attend in-person meetings

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • Experience in education

This is a remote position; open to the 50 states and DC.   

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. 

We anticipate the salary range to be $69,906.75 - $80,000.00 per year. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
