Personal Injury Claims Technician

Job Location: UK-wide, remote working  

Job Type: Permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for Personal Injury Claims Technician working remotely on a UK-wide basis. 

Join our growing Motor team and play a key role in helping customers through the claims process. As a Motor Claims Technician, you will manage a varied caseload of motor claims, including third-party injury, credit hire, and property damage, while delivering excellent service and support to all parties involved. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. 

We are looking for a confident communicator with strong listening skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering positive outcomes. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, and external partners, ensuring information is communicated clearly and records are maintained accurately. In return, you will gain valuable experience, develop your technical expertise, and build a rewarding career with a supportive and collaborative team. 

The skills you will have when you apply:   

Motor Claims Experience: Proven experience managing motor claims from cradle to grave, including repairs, total loss, third-party intervention, subrogated recoveries, property damage, personal injury, and credit hire. 

Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide professional, empathetic, and efficient support throughout the claims journey. 

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders. 

Negotiation Ability: Confidence in negotiating fair and timely settlements while balancing customer needs and business requirements. 

Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and customers. 

Professional Development: Commitment to working towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) Cert CILA qualification and continuing professional development.
