About the Team:

Mobile is one of the most exciting initiatives Bubble is investing in right now. We shipped native iOS and Android support, one of our most requested features ever, and we're just getting started. Our mobile product is live and growing, and we're building fast: In-App Subscriptions, Mobile Plugins, and more have already shipped, with a lot more on the roadmap. We have a small, focused team working on this, and we're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help take it to the next level, expanding the mobile builder, deepening the React Native runtime, and building the infrastructure that lets millions of Bubble users ship real apps to the App Store and Google Play. This is a full-stack role with a frontend focus — expect ~70% of your work on the frontend, 25% on the backend.

In This Role You’ll:

• Drive design and implementation of our Mobile application builder.

• Architect deployment pipelinesfor seamless publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play, integrating with Bubble’s existing infrastructure.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and support teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across web and mobile.

• Mentor and coach engineers to improve their technical skills and leadership.

• Partner directly with executive leadership to define roadmaps, inform and commit to priorities, and execute effectively.

About You:

• 8+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, preferably at high-growth startups

• Proven track record building mobile products and features across the full stack, with strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals and hands-on React Native experience; native iOS or Android exposure is a bonus

• Experience leading projects and designing technical solutions

• Experience with CI/CD, testing automation, and troubleshooting issues across the stack.

• Strong coding skills and the ability to mentor other engineers

• Excellent communication skills

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation aligned to tier one markets. Our estimated salary for this role at Bubble ranges from $200,000-$259,000. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.

Location: 

This is a remote-friendly role open to candidates authorized to work in the U.S. Our team is based in NYC and works Eastern Time.

We're currently set up to hire across most U.S. states.

States we're not currently set up to employ in: AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, OK, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WY. If you're in one of these states but open to relocating to NYC, we'd still love to hear from you.

If you'd like to join us in New York, we're happy to help with relocation. We prefer hiring within commuting distance of our Manhattan office because we value getting together in person regularly — folks who come in enjoy catered lunches, team events, and other perks.
