About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Lead, FSP Operations (clinical operations) to join Parexel's Functional Service Provider organization. This cross functional leadership role plays a critical part in shaping the success of Clinical Operations FSP programs through strategic leadership, operational excellence, financial oversight, and strong client partnership.

As Program Lead, you will provide direction across FSP programs, ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost effective services while maintaining customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and business performance. You will work closely with functional leaders, regional leaders, and line managers to develop scalable solutions, optimize program performance, and drive sustainable growth..

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall success of assigned FSP programs by ensuring high quality service delivery, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance

  • Provide strategic direction to FSP management teams on program level financial performance, resource optimization, and margin improvement opportunities

  • Manage financial aspects of FSP programs, including budget planning, resource allocation, cost management, financial reporting, profitability targets, and contract oversight

  • Oversee the development and management of workforce infrastructure that supports successful FSP program execution

  • Lead strategic initiatives that strengthen and expand FSP service offerings.

  • Develop comprehensive and scalable FSP solutions that address the specific needs of clients while supporting long term program growth

  • Establish frameworks and standardized approaches for FSP service delivery while maintaining flexibility for program specific requirements

  • Implement quality standards, reporting mechanisms, and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness across FSP operations

  • Drive knowledge sharing and process harmonization across FSP programs while ensuring compliance with applicable industry regulations

  • Identify opportunities to expand FSP services and develop targeted business strategies that support client and organizational objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and long term partnership success

Candidate Profile

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills

  • Experience leading clinical FSP programs within a CRO environment

  • The ability to influence cross functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels

  • A customer focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high quality results and operational excellence

  • Experience with workforce forecasting, resource planning, billing processes, financial tracking, and performance reporting within an FSP environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of FSP clinical operations leadership experience in a CRO setting and a minimum of 3 years of previous line management experience

  • Direct experience with FSP Program Leadership within the clinical operations function

  • Experience with FSP resourcing projections, billing processes, workforce forecasting, and financial tracking

  • Comprehensive understanding of FSP operational requirements across multiple therapeutic areas

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical trial operational frameworks

  • Experience developing and implementing FSP solutions for diverse client types

  • Ability to identify and address the unique challenges associated with FSP service delivery in different functional contexts

  • Understanding of the operational needs and regulatory frameworks governing clinical trials

  • Experience building and managing cross functional teams with expertise across multiple therapeutic areas

  • Strong communication, organizational, relationship management, and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a life sciences, healthcare, business, or related discipline

  • Experience supporting multiple therapeutic areas within clinical development programs

  • Experience developing scalable FSP delivery models and service frameworks

  • Familiarity with performance measurement, quality management, and operational process improvement initiatives
