Job description

Bolton Clarke Group one of Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, operating nationally and internationally.  Bolton Clarke Residential group now has 88 Aged Care Homes across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA, with the inclusion of the Allity, McKenzie & Acacia Living Group.

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our Bolton Clarke Home & Community team on Melbourne's South, supporting our aged care clients across Mornington and the Peninsula.

If you’re passionate about making a genuine difference in the life of our elderly clients then we’d love to hear from you. This role can be part-time (4 days per week) or full-time, with the flexibility, and the ability to work from home at times.

You’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced team and equipped with everything you need - including a laptop, smartphone, and access to our care systems.

About the role:

  • Deliver high-quality home-based assessments and interventions focused on activities of daily living, mobility, and home safety, ensuring outcomes are client-centred and culturally safe.  
  • Coordinate integrated care by liaising with internal teams, external health providers, and key stakeholders to support seamless service delivery and follow-up.
  • Educate clients and teams through health promotion, education sessions, and in-service training aligned with occupational therapy service provision.
  • Maintain accurate clinical record sand ensure all documentation meets legal and professional standards, including confidentiality and compliance with organisational procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement by engaging in quality initiatives, feedback loops, and service evaluations to enhance client outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, documentation and customer service skills, experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a community setting is highly desirable. Note: This role does not involve NDIS funding or processes.

What do we need from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or equivalent.
  • Current Occupational Therapist Registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in Aged Care Occupational Therapy
  • Australian work Rights
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance   
  • Australian Drivers' licence 
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
