Job description

Product ManagerProduct Manager

Blip is a leading tech company focused on software engineering solutions for sports entertainment.

We operate at scale. As part of Flutter Entertainment, we play an essential role in the Group's goal of becoming the global leader in online sports betting and iGaming, developing innovative products and platforms for over 14 million monthly customers worldwide.

We are serious about Tech. We are problem-solvers with big ambitions, keeping a people-first mindset at the core of our work. We prioritize flexibility as we strive to deliver the best technological products and tackle the greatest industry challenges.

Recognizing that everyone brings their own strengths, backgrounds and new perspectives, we empower you to be yourself. That uniqueness shapes the culture of belonging we are so proud of.

The role

As a Product Manager for Sports Operational Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core systems and capabilities that power FanDuel's global sports betting experience. This platform processes millions of transactions across major sporting events, serving as the backbone for all customer-facing betting products.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional product development teams to evolve the foundational services, APIs, and workflows that keep the platform reliable, observable, and safe to change at scale. You will partner with engineering and SRE pillars to ensure the platform remains robust, adaptable, and innovative, supporting new product features, market expansions, and evolving regulatory and commercial needs.
This is a high-impact role requiring both technical fluency and product strategy expertise. You'll define the long-term platform vision, prioritize initiatives that increase reliability and flexibility, and ensure FanDuel continues to deliver seamless, high-volume betting experiences to customers worldwide.

What you'll be doing

- Own and deliver outcomes, executing within established initiatives, driving progress across platform capabilities.

- Contribute to strategies and propose solutions that address platform and reliability problems aligned with business goals.

- Support defining success criteria for features; gather insights through analytics, research, and competitive trends.

- Coordinate cross-team dependencies; communicate progress, blockers, and impacts to stakeholders and senior product managers.

- Participate in efforts to promote platform best practices (observability, reliability, deployment safety) alongside other product and engineering teams.

- Support collaborative workshops (ideation, unpacking, requirements gathering) and help ensure clear action plans.

- Build technical understanding of distributed systems and platform architecture; apply feasibility insights during solution development.

What you'll bring

- Product management experience with demonstrable delivery and measurable outcomes, preferably with platform or backend systems focus.

- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with metrics, analyzing data, and recommending improvements.

- Experience supporting workshops, design sprints, and cross-team planning sessions.

- Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking.

- Understanding of platform and internal stakeholder needs, gained through research and cross-functional collaboration in technical or infrastructure-focused environments.

- Nice to have: familiarity with deployment pipelines and observability practices, and ability to partner with Engineering and SRE on technical trade-offs.
