What you'll be doing

What We Need 

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Airline Sourcing Specialist on a permanent basis within our Lodging division. This position falls under our TA Connections line of business and is based in the Philippines. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the global sourcing team with property reviews and market RFPs consistent with each client's specifications for all airline lines of business, including crew and distressed passenger accommodations and transportation. The Airline Sourcing Specialist will also be responsible for admin tasks as assigned in support of the team. The Airline Sourcing Specialist may also perform site/market inspections as needed to finalize property selections and aid in the evaluation process. As such, travel may be required. You will report directly to the Global Director of Airline Sourcing and regularly collaborate with teams and departments.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Evaluating and learn to negotiate RFP terms and rates for both crew and distressed passenger RFPs.
  • Monitoring markets for price changes and escalate risks and opportunities.
  • Becoming a hotel market expert in assigned region.
  • Developing pricing comparatives and perform analysis to present final hotel/transport options.
  • Composing market intel reports for smaller cities to accompany the final report.
  • Identifying savings and revenue potential in markets.
  • Communicating effectively with hotels.
  • Vetting hotels/transport vendors to comply with each client’s vetting criteria.
  • Preparing, deliver and present all required deliverables.
  • Establishing strong relationships with hotel and transportations vendors.
  • Travelling and conduct hotel site and market visits as assigned.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Fluent in English and other languages a plus.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of both the Aviation and Hospitality Industries a plus.
  • Excellent people skills and a customer-focused approach to establish partnerships/alliances.
  • Excellent time management prioritization and follow-up skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills—with high-level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new platforms/tools.
