Position Summary:
The Director, CAMZYOS Brand Strategy and Commercial Effectiveness, will lead cross-functional strategic alignment and decision-making for the global brand, lifecycle management (LCM) including label optimization and opportunities for future growth, and competitive strategy for current and future market entrants.

This role provides enterprise-level brand leadership across the full lifecycle, shaping how CAMZYOS is positioned, activated, and sustained in an increasingly complex and competitive environment to maximize brand impact and long-term value. A critical dimension of this role is global-to-local (G2L) commercial leadership — ensuring global strategy translates into clear direction for local markets and that market-level insights continuously inform and strengthen global priorities. This requires active partnership with local market teams and includes associated business travel.

This individual will serve as a key commercial partner across the matrix and global functions, working closely with the Executive Director and VP Brand Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Competitive Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Drive a forward-looking strategic view of the HCM market — ensuring alignment and prioritization across the matrix with a forward looking lens of competitive entrants, treatment paradigm shifts, and evolving market dynamics
  • Translate the forward-looking competitive view into strategic priorities across the brand narrative, data generation plans, and long-range evidence planning — partnering closely with Medical, Publications, HEOR, and Commercial teams
  • Serve as the commercial point for competitive intelligence and strategy — translating insight into clear strategic implications and ensuring the brand acts, invests, and evolves to maintain market leadership

Commercial Lead: Lifecycle Management & Development Strategy

  • Serve as the commercial lead for the nHCM indication — owning the commercial voice in trial design, ensuring endpoints, patient populations, comparators, and trial architecture reflect commercial needs and differentiation priorities
  • Represent commercial in all pipeline and LCM forums — providing clear, evidence-based input on program sequencing, label optimization, and development trade-offs with conviction and strategic clarity
  • Own the commercial perspective on data generation decisions across the brand lifecycle — define what evidence is needed, when, and why — to ensure CAMZYOS is positioned for successful commercialization across current and future indications
  • Lead commercial input into market footprint prioritization — guiding above-market decisions on geographic sequencing and resource allocation while working closely with Global Market Access teams and local market leadership to ensure the evidence package supports reimbursement and access objectives in priority markets

Global to Local (G2L) Strategy and Market pull through

  • Serve as the strategic bridge between global brand strategy and local market execution — ensuring above-market priorities and competitive positioning translate into clear, actionable direction for local markets
  • Ensure local markets have the strategic clarity, tools, and resources needed to drive and optimize brand performance
  • Partner with local market leadership to drive G2L alignment on LCM priorities, launch sequencing, and market-specific considerations - ensuring local market realities continuously shape and strengthen global strategy

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Director, Global Brand Lead, and Senior Leadership — bringing analytical rigor, commercial conviction, and clarity of thinking to the most consequential decisions affecting the brand
  • Operate as the commercial representative in senior-level forums across Clinical Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Global Commercial — ensuring the commercial perspective is present, heard, and reflected in outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional leaders across geographies and functions — driving alignment and mobilizing teams without direct authority

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive pharmaceutical industry experience, with demonstrated success in strategy roles within complex, matrixed organizations ; commercial experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience leading enterprise‑level strategic planning, including strong financial acumen, disciplined investment thinking, and risk‑based decision‑making
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, aligning and mobilizing cross‑functional teams to drive performance in a matrix environment
  • Strong analytical and insight‑driven capabilities, with experience leveraging market research, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis to inform strategy and decisions
  • Excellent communication and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear strategic implications for senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Track record of managing multiple high‑impact priorities, operating with urgency, sound judgment, and effectiveness in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including launch planning, lifecycle management, and competitive strategy in evolving markets
  • Experience within Bristol Myers Squibb and/or cardiovascular brands preferred, with familiarity across the care continuum and launch experience a plus
