Job description

Please note that this role is based in Spain. To enable us to meet the statutory and regulatory obligations of the Spanish immigration system, you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in Spain for the duration of the employment.

As a Press & Digital Marketing Intern within the Sony Pictures Television Networks team in Madrid, you’ll support the Press & Communications department across a variety of activities, gaining hands-on experience in entertainment publicity, content and events.

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic about communications and entertainment who is keen to learn, contribute ideas and gain practical experience in a fast-paced international media environment.

What you'll do:

  • Preparing press summaries.
  • Managing graphic communication materials: photos and videos; knowledge of Photoshop for image processing is an advantage.
  • Assisting with the translation and writing of program highlights.
  • Assisting with the preparation of press releases.
  • Assisting with the management of PR and press events.
  • Assist with the management of talent trips to promote their series.

Who you are:

A student currently pursuing their final year or Master's degree in:

  • Marketing.

  • Journalism

  • Communication

  • Digital Marketing

  • Or a related field.

What you have:

  • A strong interest in television, entertainment, media and popular culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset and an interest in storytelling, publicity and content.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships as part of a team.
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Office and other everyday digital tools.
  • An interest in social media, digital communications and the evolving media landscape.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other image-editing tools would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English, with confidence working with written materials in both languages.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 10_00 AM to 2:00 – 3:00 PM (Fridays working remotely)
