About the Role & Program

The transformation team is passionate about data, process, and systems initiatives to enable finance teams to spend more time on analysis and storytelling and less time crunching numbers. We’re a small but mighty team that deeply understands how Finance and Disney operate. We are heavily partnering with finance teams across multiple functions to understand, develop, and implement solutions to complex issues. With multiple projects ongoing, no day is ever the same.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from January 2027 to June 2027.

What You Will Do

You will work on projects to provide long-term operating efficiencies across segments, research data, systems, and tools to streamline processes, and partner with internal and external clients to strengthen how teams operate cohesively in their respective business segments, just to name a few.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Gained abilities through Finance, Accounting, Economics and Business Administration coursework

  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to a constantly evolving environment

  • Collaborative attitude combined with the ability to work independently

  • Data analytics and visualization storytelling

  • Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Comfortable working with diverse teams/groups of people as well as executives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills

  • Comfortable working with AI (Copilot and Claude)

  • Data Visualization (i.e., Tableau) and Business Intelligence Tools experience and proficiency

  • Passion for Disney Entertainment (films, movies, TV, streaming and theatrical)

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

  • Be at least 18 years of age​

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization​

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information:

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program

The pay rate for this role in California is $23.00 per hour.
