Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds,  and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

Equifax’s US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit is seeking a strategic VP of Sales - Automotive Alliances to join our Automotive vertical. The USIS business unit transforms massive consumer and commercial datasets into actionable consumer and commercial risk, identity and fraud, and marketing insights that create a competitive advantage for our customers and open new opportunities.

The Automotive sales team is responsible for solutions that deliver a more personalized, secure, and seamless car buying experience. Our solutions help auto retailers, OEMs, lenders, resellers, and industry partners engage ready-to-buy customers and effectively manage risk throughout the entire vehicle financing lifecycle.

This VP of Sales opening will lead an account team focused on auto resellers and alliances driving revenue generation, Equifax growth, and end-to-end account excellence. This highly engaged, client-facing sales leadership role is responsible for customer relationships and engagement and orchestrating Equifax resources to drive sales across the full solution portfolio.

What you will do

  • Lead and Scale a High-Performing Sales Team: Direct, mentor, and recruit (as needed) a specialized team of sales professionals focused on strategic automotive resellers and alliances. Drive rigorous pipeline development, accurate forecasting, and flawless execution to exceed revenue targets.
  • Drive Alliance & Partner Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Automotive Alliance/Reseller vertical. Align Equifax’s enterprise solutions with partner business imperatives to foster long-term mutual growth.
  • Cultivate Executive Relationships: Serve as the senior executive sponsor for key alliance partners. Build and maintain deep, trusted-advisor relationships with C-level economic buyers, decision-makers, and industry influencers across the automotive ecosystem.
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Champion account strategy motions by mobilizing Pre-Sales, Product, Delivery, and Marketing teams. Design innovative joint-solutions and remove roadblocks for your team and strategic partners.
  • Oversee Complex Deal Structuring: Guide your team through complex enterprise negotiations, RFI/RFP responses, and strategic contracting, ensuring compliance and maximizing Equifax's footprint across the partner's platform.
  • Champion Innovation and Market Expansion: Lead strategic planning and client innovation sessions. Anticipate emerging trends in automotive lending, risk, and fraud to uncover new cross-sell opportunities and drive joint initiatives with platform providers.
  • Ensure End-to-End Account Excellence: Establish rigorous business review rhythms and oversee joint business planning, marketing/product launches, and systems integration efforts to ensure partners rely on Equifax as an indispensable growth engine.

What experience you need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
  • Sales Leadership: 10+ years of complex enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years in a dedicated sales leadership role managing high-performing teams, preferably within Fintech, financial services, data analytics, or credit risk sectors
  • Deep Domain Expertise: Extensive experience operating within the Automotive Alliance, Reseller, or Channel partner ecosystem, with a thorough understanding of automotive lending, risk management, identity data, and credit.
  • Proven Executive Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving significant new revenue, managing large complex quotas, acquiring strategic new logos, and scaling partner/reseller networks in a highly competitive market.
  • Team Development Skills: A history of successfully recruiting, coaching, and elevating senior sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and high performance.
  • Operational Rigor: Strong proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and relevant sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, Xactly), utilizing a data-driven approach to sales methodology.

What could set you apart

  • Expertise in risk, data, and credit within the automotive vertical.
  • Intellectually curious and insights driven, with a focus on market innovation.
  • Ability to deliver results and play to win, with a strong competitive drive for new business in a competitive market.
