Job Summary:  

Under the direction of a Partner, the Senior Engineer, AI works with clients to analyze, architect, design, and implement artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics solutions that improve business operations and drive measurable outcomes, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Senior Engineer, AI provides technical leadership, supports client engagements, and contributes to the development of innovative AI capabilities, methodologies, and service offerings.

This opportunity will be a part-time role, not to exceed a weekly average of 30 hours worked. 

Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with clients to assess AI readiness, identify business opportunities, and develop AI strategies aligned with organizational objectives.  
  • Lead discovery, solution design, and implementation activities to deliver AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.  
  • Design and develop scalable AI, machine learning, automation, and generative AI solutions that address complex client challenges.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, data platforms, and business processes.  
  • Advise clients on AI governance, security, risk management, and responsible AI practices to support sustainable adoption.  
  • Lead or support client engagements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality delivery, stakeholder alignment, and client satisfaction.  
  • Contribute to the development of AI methodologies, service offerings, reusable assets, and thought leadership that enhance the firm's capabilities and market presence.  
  • Support business development efforts through client presentations, solution demonstrations, proposal development, and relationship building. 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 3-7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, or analytics. 
  • Experience in delivering technology consulting or client-facing solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), Generative AI, and machine learning concepts. 
  • Experience developing applications in Python, SQL, and modern API frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to translate business challenges into practical AI, automation, and data-driven solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.  
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.  
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement scalable technology solutions that integrate with enterprise systems, data platforms, and business processes.  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical and business challenges.  
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.  
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams while influencing outcomes and driving client success.  
  • Ability to adapt to emerging technologies, continuously learn new capabilities, and apply innovation to solve client challenges.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $51.00-$69.00/hour, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future compensation increases. The actual hourly rate at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws. 

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
