Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is to strategically manage supply chain initiatives associated with strategic accounts.  The role will be key in driving strategy, which will include targeting specific opportunities, involving critical parties, evaluating impact, developing recommendations, and socializing and gaining senior leadership support. This includes rebate alignment and strategy, formulary management strategies, pharmacy network management, value-based solutions, and other initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Drive evaluation, development and execution of supply chain drivers.

  • Partner cross functionally to educate, influence and operationalize initiatives to achieve growth objectives.

  • Financial tracking of supply chain initiatives, performance guarantees and contract compliance.

  • Develop and execute strategies that drive additional aligned value.

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies.

  • Guide and persuade towards specific deliverables within an environment of tight deadlines and significant pressure.

  • Handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions.

  • Understand how value is derived in supply chain and what the impact will be as decisions are analyzed and determined.

  • Evaluate data and drive action to create additional value.

  • Promotion of enablement and efficiencies across the teams.

  • Support account team in maintaining positive client relations.

  • Project management as needed.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of healthcare and PBM experience with knowledge of supply chain.

  • Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to work cross–functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies.

  • Strong business, financial, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Executive presence and strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Project management as needed.

  • Track record of successful business and program operations.

  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations and negotiations.

  • Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate financial data and drive action to create additional value.

  • Strong business, financial, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,100 - 216,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
