The Customer Sales Analyst (CSA) embodies this aspiration perfectly and will be a vital internal sales position to deliver actionable business insights that support growth on the UNFI Wholesale team. The CSA will help steer data for sales planning with the development of actionable insights to improve sales value across all Kraft Heinz categories via data pulling, visualization and analysis. 

Additionally, the CSA position ensures key routines are executed with excellence including line review organization, post event tracking, performance updates, and SOP development. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, retail, and supply chain to ensure target delivery. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities  

  • Utilize sales and consumer data to build presentations for both internal and external audiences. 
  • Own routines to identify key volume drivers and communicating material needs. 
  • Develops impactful customer specific selling stories that reflect key category business building initiatives.  
  • Focus on communication of actionable analysis & insights to support effective selling stories, to solve consumer needs. 
  • Assist with regular category & business reviews with the field team to affect positive business growth. 
  • Ensures that the customer, consumer and category insights are delivered timely, with full data accuracy 
  • Analyze key merchandizing events and provide actionable point of views on compliance, execution, consumption and value.  
  • Be or Grow into a Subject Matter Expert on Story Telling, Visualizations, Data Literacy, or Analytical Process.  
  • Work with the Data & Analytics team on a feedback loop of business-critical reporting and tool development.  

Expected Experience & Required Skills 

  • Experience with a corporate sales background with knowledge of business processes and Category Management 
  • Ability to work within a Customer Business Team framework, applying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management & proactivity to achieve objectives 
  • Ability to plan, organize and communicate priorities to leadership 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Use and understanding of syndicated data and panel data 
  • Proven communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) for both internal & external outputs 
  • Experience with Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation is a plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Strong presentation Skills including Verbal & Written  
  • Strong desire to expand capabilities with Circana, Numerator, Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI
  • Adaptability to changing business requirements 
  • Self-starter – highly motivated and proactive approach to all task 
  • Growth Mindset with Problem Solving Skills and Attention to Detail 

Work Environment & Schedule 

  • This position is a remote role and with limited travel or visits to external locations. Additionally, this role requires the ability to work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations 

Physical Requirements   

Physical demands include but not limited to 

  • Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$77,800.00 - $97,300.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
