Job Summary:

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is looking for an RN with prior CDI Experience for a CDI Specialist position, this individual will primarily work remotely but needs to be located semi-locally for training and onboarding purposes.

Conduct reviews of physician documentation to identify opportunity for clinical documentation improvement.

Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Job Duties:
Demonstrates knowledge of documentation requirements
Facilitates clinical documentation
Competent utilization of EPIC, 3M Encompass/CDIS, Midas
Identify opportunities for operational improvement
Demonstrates responsibility for personal development
Works in collaborative fashion with team members and other associates
Performs other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed

Specialized Knowledge:
Use of personal computer and Windows applications.
Knowledge of encoding/grouping/compliance software.

Kind and Length of Experience:
Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience
