Summary

The Invoice Business Analyst supports the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and milestone-based invoices for the Connecticut Medicaid account including the administration of Modification Hours. This role drives collection of  information, organize invoice backup, maintain billing trackers, and support timely invoice preparation activities.  This position will also be leveraged to support other administrative account duties as assigned.

Your role in our mission

  • Collect, review, and compile invoice support information and billing documentation from various departments and teams.
  • Maintain invoice tracking spreadsheets, billing records, modification hours, and electronic invoice backup documentation.
  • Reconcile billing data and supporting reports, verify source documents for accuracy and completeness, and follow up on missing information.
  • Track invoice due dates and support timely submissions while providing billing status updates to Finance and account leadership.
  • Assist with audits, invoice documentation requests, process improvement initiatives, and other account-related administrative duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative, billing, finance, project coordination, or business support role, but equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

What you should expect in this role

  • Experience working with spreadsheets and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting invoicing, finance, accounting, or project administration activities.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems

In order to effectively work as a teleworker with Gainwell, employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8MBS upload.

The pay range for this position is $54,300.00 - $77,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
