About the role: 

Nintex is hiring a Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager to provide decision support to the Marketing and Product organizations. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the ideal candidate will be a driven problem solver with high EQ that thrives in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.  We are looking for someone with intellectual curiosity, a bias toward action and is outcome oriented. The right individual will fit into a team culture that values collaboration, a willingness to help colleagues, and a no task is too small attitude.     

This is a high exposure role that will regularly interact with extended leadership.  While you directly report to the Director, FP&A you will also on an ad-hoc basis work directly with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, SVPs of Product & Engineering and all VPs within the Marketing & Product Groups.  As such, you will need to be a clear and concise communicator with high attention to detail.  Lastly, we desire a business-oriented thinker that is additive to building an expectation-based culture focused on metrics, measurement and data driven analysis.    

This is a USA based remote role, reports into a Director, FP&A that is based in NZ, and will be expected to work with leadership teams in both the U.S, EMEA and occasionally APAC regions.   

Your contribution will be: 

  • Providing financial support to the Finance organization and leaders within the Marketing and Product organization.  The Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager will prepare analysis and reporting on KPIs, business activities, and budgeting/forecasting.  You will work with the marketing & product groups to assist them in understanding actual performance versus expectations (e.g., forecast and budget), and assessing customer health metrics.   
  • Reporting.  You will work against tight deadlines to provide a variety of reports including monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc analysis of key operating metrics. You will also gain broader exposure to reporting within a fast-paced PE-backed environment. The reports will be completed with the upmost accuracy in a manner that captures drivers of key business outcomes.  Reporting requires pulling data from various of systems including Salesforce CRM, Adaptive, NetSuite, and Greenhouse ATS.    
  • Analysis.  You will be expected to deliver impactful business analysis that extends beyond expense forecast and variance analysis. Projects may be one-time or recurring, but will deliver data and recommendations that steer the direction Nintex. As a more senior member of the FP&A team we would expect this role to get more involved in acquisitions, and critical board, exec or team priorities.

To be successful, we think you need: 

  • BS/BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting or like degree   
  • 4-10 years FP&A experience   
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint   
  • Interest in developing a career in Enterprise Software FP&A   
  • Customer Success, Professional Services or SaaS FP&A experience a plus   
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Power BI, SQL and Salesforce or like systems a plus

Target Compensation Range (US ONLY): 160,000 - 175,000 USD annually. On target compensation refers to the base salary and applicable variable target for this role. The range is an estimate, base pay will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate's skills and experience aligned with the needs of the role. Base pay may vary based on several factors including geographic location, role specific qualifications, and seniority. Nintex also offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off, twelve paid holidays, 401(k) with employer match, and more.​
