Senior Software Engineer

## CA VISION:Report / COBOL Developer – Remote, India * **Experience:** 4–6 years in Mainframe development. * Strong hands-on experience in **CA VISION:Report and COBOL** development and maintenance. * Good knowledge of **IBM z/OS, JCL, VSAM, ISPF and SDSF**. * Develop, modify, debug and maintain VISION:Report and COBOL applications. * Analyze existing VISION:Report programs and understand embedded business logic. * **Hands-on migration experience from CA VISION:Report to COBOL is highly preferred.** * Experience in converting VISION:Report business logic and reports into equivalent COBOL programs. * Good understanding of file processing, report generation and data structures. * Experience with **DB2 and/or CA IDMS** is preferred. * Perform unit testing, integration testing and regression testing. * Troubleshoot production issues, abends and application defects. * Perform impact analysis and prepare technical documentation. * REXX and/or Python knowledge is an added advantage. * Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work independently in a **fully remote environment**. * **Location:** India | **Work Mode:** 100% Remote.
