Job title : SAP MDG Technical
Role Description : Provide hands-on SAP MDG Material Master development and production support. The resource will independently troubleshoot incidents, debug technical issues, implement production fixes and enhancements, and support the ongoing stabilization of the MDG solution.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide hands-on L2/L3 technical support for SAP MDG Material Master.
Investigate and resolve production incidents related to Change Requests, workflow, activation, validations/derivations, and replication.
Develop and maintain MDG customizations, BAdIs, enhancements, and custom logic.
Support BRF+ rules and MDG workflow-related development.
Troubleshoot MDG data-model and staging/active-area issues.
Analyze DRF and master-data replication failures.
Perform ABAP debugging to identify technical root causes.
Analyze application logs, dumps, interfaces, and other technical errors.
Develop and implement production fixes and minor enhancements.
Perform unit testing and support functional/regression testing.
Support transports, production deployments, and post-deployment validation.
Document root causes and resolutions for recurring production issues.
Collaborate with MDG Functional/Configuration, ABAP, Basis, integration, and S/4HANA teams.
Escalate complex technical issues to the MDG Manager when required.
Required Skills :
Hands-on SAP MDG-M / Material Master development experience.
SAP MDG data model and Change Request framework.
BAdIs/enhancements and custom MDG development.
BRF+, workflow, validations, and derivations.
DRF and replication framework.
ABAP/OO ABAP debugging skills.
S/4HANA and Material Master knowledge.
Integration/interface troubleshooting experience.
Strong production-support and root-cause-analysis skills.
