We are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales skills and contribute to the growth of our company by building strong relationships with clients and driving revenue.

Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist – Life Sciences Segment

Department: Sales

Reporting To: Sr. Strategic Account Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Travel: 15-20%

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth within the Life Sciences customer channels through proactive prospecting, lead qualification, account development, and customer relationship management. 

This role partners closely with customers and internal teams to identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and achieve assigned sales and profitability objectives. The Inside Sales Specialist utilizes consultative selling techniques, CRM tools, and cross-functional collaboration to support customer retention, increase market penetration, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while contributing to overall commercial growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Achieve and exceed established sales and profitability targets

· Prospecting and developing new accounts to achieve sales growth targets by reaching out to prospective clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to generate new business opportunities

· Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for lead generation and client engagement

· Working in conjunction with the external sales team while prospecting and developing new business. 

· Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

· Developing trusting customer relationships through consistent sales efforts

· Understand client needs and present tailored solutions that meet their requirements

· Effectively drawing upon company resources throughout the sales and business development process to always maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. 

· Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations

· Securing business via long-term contracts or supply agreements, as possible. 

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in our CRM system, Salesforce

· Participating in weekly Salesforce/pipeline review with Sales team

· Engaging with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to win and close competitive opportunities

· Hosting calls/meetings across all internal functions (on behalf of new/existing customers). 

· Providing input to Sales or Engineering regarding custom projects 

· All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement/Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 year or higher degree preferred from an accredited college or university; and/or 2 to 5 years’ sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Demonstrated prospecting and selling experience in Life Sciences, Cold Chain and/or Thermal Packaging industries.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex product information
  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Computer Skills 

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft Office -- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. ERP and CRM experience required with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
