Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Acceleration is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sales training programs to improve the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of the sales team, specifically, those at the intermediate or expert level of tenure. This role involves creating training materials, conducting training sessions, evaluating the success of training programs, and collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Training Program Development

  • Design and implement comprehensive sales training programs, including skill development for employees at the intermediate and expert level of their career.
  • Develop training materials, modules, and resources to address sales techniques, product knowledge, customer relationship management, and other relevant skills.
  • Developing frontline sales leadership programs
  • Managing product launches and acquisitions

Field Sales Training Program

  • Developing and supervising the Field Sales Training Program which includes ongoing development of the FSTs, tracking and monitoring new hire field rides and driving consistency of FST interactions

Training Metrics

  • Establish metrics-based curriculum that track both commercial performance and clinical proficiency
  • Reinforce and remediate the learning curve as needed to strengthen ongoing sales effectiveness and clinical proficiency.

Project Management and Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Project manage training events around product launches, sales initiatives and Regional/National Sales meetings
  • Collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations and Commercial Leadership to drive growth initiatives and meet company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ Years of experience in Sales Training, classroom management, and facilitation
  • Selling Skills certification in IMPACT, SPIN, Challenger or similar
  • Certification in DISC, Insights, and/or Myers Briggs or related personality assessments
  • Proven experience in sales, sales training, or sales management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and metrics
  • Familiarity with e-learning tools, CRM software, and sales enablement platforms
  • Leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate sales teams
  • Analytical mindset to assess training effectiveness and drive improvements

Salary Description $170,000 - $185,000 Annually
